Upcoming Birthday.

Our little man turns 6 in a couple of days and to say that he's excited is an understatement. Last Friday, he asked, "Mum, don't you think that you should start preparing for my birthday?" not knowing that I'd already gotten that ball rolling. 

We packed party bags for his friends this evening. We're having a little celebration after school with some friends of his.

Tomorrow, we'll spend the afternoon decorating his cake. Small little jobs that make his upcoming birthday celebrations a little more real for him.
