An Interview & An Apron.

Earlier in the week, our big boy had an interview as part of his college enrolment process. At the eleventh hour, I realised we needed to bring a passport-sized photograph along. We made a trip into the village and managed to get one taken in time. Our sweet little lady thoughtfully offered a polaroid she had to us, in case we couldn't find a photo of him in time. It even had half his face in it.

It's been a fruitful Saturday. I managed to get up early to go for a run first thing this morning. Our big girl and I spent the afternoon making an apron for her. We made a reversible one, using fabric we had at home. It was pretty neat, and she had such good focus in sitting down and getting it done in a couple of hours. She prefers the floral side of the apron, which was quite clear as that's the side that got the pocket too. It's been a long-awaited project for her. I'm glad we saw that one through.
