The older children have picked up a new skill this summer: needle felting. It seems to be quite a niche hobby that involves using a barbed needle to poke repeatedly at felted wool so that it weaves into itself and takes shape. After suffering a few jabs from the needle, they learned pretty quick to keep their fingers out of the way!

And to think all this began with the Hedgehog felting kit her big brother bought her as a Secret Santa gift.
