Football Friday.

It's taken a couple of weeks, but this little man is slowly finding his feet in the game. It was great to be able to watch him pitchside and not have him need me beside him.

But by the time our big boy's practice comes along, it's dark, I can see my breath, my feet ache from the cold and I'm all footballed out for the evening. 

The winter chill sits in my bones all the way home until I gratefully thaw out under a hot shower and later settle down to watch High School Musical with the rest of the family. Our big boy's class has picked that for a mini-production and we were getting a lay of the land with a movie night.

First Holy Communion for our first born tomorrow. Big day!
